ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS

  • Due to the structural constraints, limited space was available for overhead ductwork.

  • MEPC developed a plan to provide a dedicated outside air unit to supply ventilation air to the new space and individual fan coil units to provide mechanical cooling.

  • Separate systems allowed for:

    • Less overhead ductwork

    • Zone controls

    • An energy recovery wheel which recovered sensible and latent energy from the exhaust air to reduce energy costs
