Located in the heart of Chicago’s Downtown loop since 1899, the John Marshall Law School has been offering working professionals from all walks of life the opportunity and access to the study of law. As part of their ongoing commitment to its students, JMLS is renovating their law library and administration floors. McGuire Engineers was retained to help design the floors and their supporting systems on a fast track schedule so that the project would not interfere with the students’ final exams.

- Close monitoring of equipment cost and delivery schedule
- Early collaboration with building management, architects, and contractors
- MEPC also became familiar with the building’s current renovations including controls retrofit and emergency power upgrades to make our design coordinate with the building and perform efficiently
